Latvia cemented its status as one of the dominant forces, cruising to a decisive win agnst Poland with a final score of 22-16. The team advanced directly into the semi-finals with an unbeaten record across their seven matches at Paris 2024 Olympics.

Poland sought a second chance to advance through play-in games agnst Lithuania, who had secured third place in the group stage standings. Lithuania proved too strong for Poland, securing their spot in the semi-finals after defeating them by a score of 21-15 under the evening lights.

Strahinja Stojacic of Serbia made his presence felt, contributing three powerful dunks to accumulate eight total points in the game.

Nonetheless, France's offensive efficiency proved to be higher than Serbia's, gradually pulling away with Timothe Vergiat sealing a crucial 22-19 victory for their team.

Players of the day on August 4 were Worthy de Jong from the Netherlands and Nauris Miezis from Latvia. Both showcased impressive scoring, netting 11 and 13 points respectively in their respective group stage matches.

De Jong led his team agnst Team USA with an efficient game highlighted by five one-point shots, two free throws, and a pr of two-point shots for a shot efficiency of 0.92. Miezis dominated Latvia's match agnst Poland with five successful two-point shots and three one-point shots, ing with an even higher efficiency score of 1.08.
