1. Appointment of Cameron Jones as Chief Financial Officer

   In August 2024, the National Basketball Players Association NBPA announced that Cameron Jones was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer. In his role, Mr. Jones will oversee all financial operations, strategic planning for Basketball Related Income BRI, and comprehensive analysis to ensure the NBPA's continuous growth and stability.

2. Mason Plumlee's Election as Secretary-Treasurer

   Mason Plumlee was elected on July 13, 2024 as the new Secretary-Treasurer of the National Basketball Players Association NBPA by its Board of Player Representatives. He succeeds Harrison Barnes who previously held this position since 2021.

3. The Return to Las Vegas for NBPA

   Beginning on July 2nd, The National Basketball Players Association brings back a variety of player-centric activations during the opening week of NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, offering fans unprecedented access into the dly lives of their favorite players off the court.

4. Leaders Performance Institute Partnership for 2024 NBPA Performance Summit

   On April 9th, 2024, the National Basketball Players Association NBPA announced its partnership with Leaders Performance Institute to support the second edition of the NBPA Performance Summit @ The Sanctuary scheduled from July 23rd to 25th.

5. The Throne Tournament ring on NBA TV and NBA App

   In March, it was announced that Gold Level Sports Entertnment GLSE and the National Basketball Players Association NBPA will feature The Throne national championship event in high school basketball competitions. Starting from March 27th to 30th at American Dream in East Rutherford, NJ, all games will be red on NBA TV and the NBA App.

6. Renewed Partnership for The Throne

   GLSE and the National Basketball Players Association NBPA renewed their partnership for the second year of The Throne event scheduled from March 27th to 30th at American Dream entertnmentretl center, which includes a women's tournament this year as well.
