NBA Players Association and NBA Sign New Collective Bargaining Agreement

COLLECTIVE BARGNING AGREEMENT CBA BETWEEN THE NATIONAL BASKETBALL PLAYER'S ASSOCIATION AND THE NATIONAL BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION

The Collective Bargning Agreement governs the relationship between the National Basketball Players Association NBPA and the National Basketball Association NBA, establishing a framework for professional basketball players' employment terms, conditions, rights, and obligations under NBA Club, NBA, and NBPA.

As of April 2023, following member approval, this agreement took effect on July 1, 2023. The current term exts through the 2029-30 NBA season with an option for both parties to mutually terminate upon expiration of the 2028-29 season.
