ICMS Hosts Thrilling Football Tournament for Passionate Students

Uniting Passion and Talent: International College of Management and Sports Hosts Exciting Football Tournament

On June 25th, 2023 Sunday, the International College of Management and Sport ICMS brought together students passionate about football through its exciting football tournament known as the ICMS Football League 2023. Organized by dedicated students from the Diploma in Football Studies program with assistance from ICMS staff, this event served as a testament to the immense talent and love for football amongst both ICMS Academy and UIM residents.

With an m to bridge gaps, foster unity among ICMS students through their shared love of football, and strengthen bonds between ICMS Academy and UIM residents alike.

Participating were four teams from ICMS Academy Katana, Osiris, Titans, and Spartan along with one team from UIM UIM FC. The tournament operated on a round-robin format leading up to the final match pitting the top two teams - Katana FC vs. Osiris FC. In an intense 50-minute battle that culminated in a penalty shootout, Katana FC secured victory with three penalty goals compared to Osiris FC's two.

Notably, Coach Izzat of ICMS football team was present to scout potential players for the upcoming LIGA KPT 2023 scheduled for October. Additionally, representatives from uMobile were also present offering free sim cards to the excited students.

This Sunday marked a day of great joy and relaxation for the students who could finally let loose through their beloved sport. With this successful event under their belts, the students of Diploma in Football Studies committed to organizing even more captivating events in the future.
